The Email Piping add-on enables seamless import of emails directly into your ticket system, allowing customers to create new tickets or respond to existing ones simply by sending or replying to emails—no need for them to log into your website.
For example, when a customer submits a ticket on your site and you reply, they typically receive an email notification. While the ideal scenario is for customers to log in and reply on the website, most prefer responding via email. This can lead to missed communications since you must constantly monitor your inbox. The Email Piping add-on solves this by automatically importing all emails from your inbox and attaching them to the appropriate tickets.
If an incoming email doesn’t match an existing ticket, it automatically creates a new one. This means you can instruct customers to send emails directly to a designated address (e.g., support@yourdomain.com), and each email will be converted into a ticket on your platform.
