GravityView Ratings & Reviews Extension 2.5.2

This GPL-distributed plugin allows you to add ratings and reviews functionality to your GravityView entries. It’s clean, secure, and legally redistributed under the GPL license, though it does not include official support.

Enable WordPress Comments
The Ratings & Reviews extension relies on WordPress’s native comment system. To activate it, go to Settings → Discussion in your WordPress dashboard and check the option “Allow people to submit comments on new posts.”

Customize Your Reviews
Once comments are enabled, you can configure:

• Review Type: Choose between star ratings or upvotes.

• Limit Reviews: Restrict users to one review per entry.

• Hide Rating Fields: Show only text reviews if preferred.

• Allow Empty Text Reviews: Ideal when using upvote/downvote ratings.

Add Ratings & Review Fields
In your View editor, open View Settings → Ratings & Reviews and enable entry reviews. The extension provides four new fields to enhance your View layout:

• Rate Entry: Lets users rate entries on the Multiple Entries page.

• Stars Rating: Displays the entry’s star rating out of five.

• Votes Rating: Shows the aggregated up/down vote count.

• Reviews Link: Displays ratings and links to the review section.
